DDXP 2012 Judging
Welcome to the judge information page for D&D Experience 2012. As always we are looking for new and engaging judges for our shows (this one and future ones). Whether you want to judge 1 or 10 slots we can find a schedule that works for you doing something you enjoy.
DDXP runs on a 12 slot schedule with 4 hours in each slot. Slots start at 6pm on Wednesday, 8am, 2pm, and 8pm on Thur, Fri, and Sat and 8am and noon on Sunday. So Slot 1 is Wednesday 6pm, Slot 2 is Thursday 8am, etc.
I think our benefits for judging at this show, or any show Baldman Games runs, are some of the best if not the best in the industry. We pride ourselves on rewarding what we consider awesome judges in every way we can think of. Below are the benefits we are offering for this show:
4+ slots - Free badge to the show
7+ slots - Free badge and a hotel room space (4 per room - 4 nights - Wed-Sat)
Every 2 slots worked is a free book (4 slots is 2 books, 8 slots would be 4 books)
Slot Zeroes - A chance to play and run the events from our show at home before the show. So you don't miss out on the fun and can better prepare the events to run for the guests of the show. You can have and eat your cake in this instance.
IMPORTANT!!!!
Please note we are working on a 12 slot schedule and not 10 this year. There will be a 30 min buffer at the end of each slot to cover paperwork and run overs (but don't plan on going much past midnight unless you want HQ kicking you in the shin). We are going to crack down on judges running on time this year. If you always finish super late this is probably not the show for you. If you just need practice we can help with that.
We are also really looking to mix in home-brewed games of D&D and especially older editions. If you are interested please choose that option and put details in the notes section. You can earn a badge running your own game the whole show if you want.
We are taking very limited numbers of judges for slot 1 and 12 until we better gauge player demand.
