Home Game in the Cloud
Home Game in the Cloud games has moved away from the Baldman Games Community Discord server and now has its own Discord server! If you have not already joined the new server for HGitC games, please open a ticket in the Community Server and we’ll get you where you need to be!
Right now, of the groups that are still recruiting new players, we have:
- DM Kaellie C. is running Faster Purple Worm! Everybody Dies! that features a new one-shot for level one characters every session that comes with only one guarantee: everybody dies by the end.
- DM Jamie C. is running through the Dragon Delves anthology as a DDAL table. There is one seat available, and their next session is September 9th at 9:30 p.m. EDT for Chapter 3: The Will of Orcus.
- DM Carolina M. is also running through the Dragon Delves anthology as a DDAL table. She has two seats available, and her next session is September 1th at 7:00 p.m. EDT, also Chapter 3: The Will of Orcus.
- DM Corgi is extending and expanding their successful Tales of Parnast HGitC to tier 2, with adventures from AL season 5 and Storm King’s Thunder
- DM Spencer N.C. is running two games: Wyrd Street, which is focused on intimate, emotional, local-scale urban heroism in a mythical city. The adventures have just started, and next meet on September 4 at 8 p.m. EDT. There are two seats available.
He is also beginning to set up a series called TBD RPG, where each session will feature a different RPG from his (very large) collection. If you’ve wanted to explore all that TTRPGs have to offer, this is the game for you.
Premiere Event Pricing
A $2 price increase will apply to certain Baldman Games-created modules during their premiere event – 100% of this surcharge goes directly to the creative team, Baldman Games takes no cut of this surcharge.
This price increase only applies at the premiere event and to certain limited-availability Exclusive adventures. Should the modules run during future months or events, they will be at the standard price.
Premiere modules for this month: Avishkar-4: Aetherdrift and LoG-CORE1-3: Ruins of the Moathouse
Limited Exclusives
We have heard your feedback on last month’s process when we ran Ruins of the Moathouse as a limited exclusive, and we have completely changed how the system will work in the future:
- Listings for Limited Exclusives will now be public, but will be locked to those with a special Exclusive badge.
- Getting the Exclusive badge will be similar to getting a Dragon Mark or a Dungeon Mark badge:
- Using a bot command, you will be prompted for what kind of badge you want
- After confirming your selection, the required number of Marks will be subtracted from your balance
- Once the transaction is complete, you will receive a discount code and a link to get your badge
- You then use the badge normally, but you will be limited to purchasing a single ticket.
- If you want a second Exclusive ticket, you will have to purchase a second badge.
- You can also purchase a ticket for a friend, but you have to be friends on Tabletop Events and each already have an Exclusive badge.

What’s Coming in October & December
Wait. What happened to November?!?
Funny you should ask. There won’t be a VDDW in November, because instead we are running Weekend in Highfolk!
We have gotten a lot of feedback that online players have been itching for something special, especially since they haven’t had flagship online-first content since Vault of the Undying, and there hasn’t been a big online convention in years.
So while it will have some similarities to a VDDW, make no mistake, this is NOT a VDDW by another name, it’ll be a unique experience! We’ll have fresh content, a different vibe, and maybe some special activities too… Details on that coming SOON(tm).
It will be November 7-9, so clear those weekends now. We are also rolling back our ticket prices for this weekend, returning to the $15 cost of ages now but a memory, from the halcyon days of 2020. Other discounts will be available as well.
October VDDW: 3-5
December VDDW: 12-14
Legends of Greyhawk
- September
- Will be the last run of Hommlet, unless there is strong demand for more.
- Moathouse goes back into the vault until next year
- October
- Online debut of Sword in the Shadows
- Final run of Nulb, unless there is strong demand for more
- December
- Online debut of Murder Among Thieves–a limited Exclusive
Classic DDAL Multi-Table
- We’ll brave the dust of the archives to bring you a classic multi-table epic or special in October
Liars’ Night
- Since the VDDW is at the opposite end of the month, we won’t have a full weekend of Liars’ Night festivities, but you can be certain there will be plenty of DM-led spookiness on hand.
Midwinter
- There will be SOME special games for Midwinter in December, but we’re still working on things so we don’t have any details yet.
These plans are just that and, like anything, are subject to change. The further in the future, the more likely that can be.
Wrap-Up
September VDDW is September 12-14
